Hi Ya'll. Yes I am a Texas gal. My name is Christie Cosper-Storey and I am one of the owners of Central Texas Tractor. My husband Tom is the other owner. Tom is a Texas implant. Growing up as an army brat, he moved a lot but we will take him in as a Texan, as his father served proudly in our military for our freedom. A little background on Tom and I. We live, work and play in Bosque and Hamilton County. My family settled in Bosque County in the late 1800's and my family has remained, in this area that we love.
My background is tractors of course, working with my parents in their tractor dealership for many years. My mom and dad built a wonderful business over the last 30 years or so and were able to retire this year. Tom has a mechanical and aviation background and has recently retired from Southwest Airlines. I guess I could not let him retire, so I put him back to work.
Tom and I met about 16 years ago. (I actually sold him a tractor.) We have 2 kids, about 14 years apart......yes, we are crazy people. Parker is my oldest and is a rural mail carrier, Catherine is 13 going on 30 and loves all animals. Our passion is our kids and animals. We live on a 350 acre farm and raise a small herd of Registered Herefords along with our horses, goats, chickens, dogs and cats.
Living in Bosque County is truly a blessing. We have the best neighbors and friends, and you never meet a stranger in this friendly little county that we love.
Our goal is to help the residents of Bosque, Hamilton and surrounding counties in any way we can and provide the best and most friendly customer service to all. We hope that our knowledge can be passed on to anyone who may need it but believe me, we have made our own fair share of mistakes.
